Ellipticizing to Constellation Field

This summer, I have been exercising on the elliptical machine pictured below on a regular basis.  I have started slowly traveling a little over a mile each day.  Yesterday, Monday, June 6, I went 1.23 miles.  (That is one and 23 hundredths miles)

Needless to say, the scenery while completing this exercise is not all that interesting.  So, I have decided to make a trip out of it (at least in my imagination.)  Between now and July 4 (28 days), my goal is to "walk" the distance from Stevens Elementary to Constellation Field in Sugar Land (the home of the Sugar Land Skeeters).  According to Google, this is a journey of 22.3 miles. (see map below)

I will be chronicling the "journey" and relying on my ability to add decimals to figure out how far I have gone.  Please follow along.  Bring a pencil and paper and keep your eyes on the goal.

Special Thanks to Stephen King and the writers of the TV show Modern Family from whom I borrowed this idea.
